Our rooms

Explorers and Discoverers

Our Explorers and Discoverers rooms are designed to meet the unique needs of your child. At Aspire, we prioritize children's well-being and collaborate with parents to ensure routines that suit each child best. Our rooms include a dedicated sleep area and a milk kitchen.

Babies learn through sensory play, which is why our baby rooms are thoughtfully designed to stimulate their senses and foster curiosity. For our older babies, the Discoverers room features slide and climbing equipment to help them develop balance, coordination, and motor skills, encouraging movement and physical growth in a fun and engaging way.

The children also enjoy music classes, Tiny talk signing, and local outings to the park and library.

Imaginers

Approx. 18 months to 30 months

Our pre/early toddler room is designed to nurture independence and creativity, allowing children to explore and build confidence through imaginative play. They continue developing the skills learned in their earlier stages, with a strong focus on language growth through engaging, play-based activities.

The room includes both a changing area and a toilet to support early toilet training. Gentle encouragement to sit on the toilet before a nappy change helps build confidence and fosters independent thinking as they take this important next step.

Children also enjoy a fun and interactive Tiny Talk sign language class, as well as an engaging music session. Regular outings to local parks and the library provide opportunities for exploration and discovery beyond the classroom.

Creators and Adventurers

Approx. 24 months to 40 months

Supporting Growth & Independence in Our Creators and Adventurers Room

In our Creators and Adventurers room, children take big steps in their emotional development and self-awareness. Their learning accelerates, friendships deepen, and play evolves in exciting new ways. We provide a supportive environment where they have the freedom and opportunities to develop these growing skills and emotions. As part of their independence, children are encouraged to self-serve their meals and drink from cups.

To enrich their experiences, children can take part in tennis and enjoy a fun-filled Zumba class. They also go on learning walks around the local area, where they explore nature while incorporating early maths and phonics skills.

Two-Year-Old Progress Check

When your child turns two, they will be invited to have a progress check with their health visitor. We offer additional support by completing a nursery progress check alongside this. If you receive information regarding your child’s check, please let us know so we can coordinate our assessment, typically done around 27 months.

Inventors and Investigators

School leavers

As children turn three, they join our Inventors/Investigators room—a space designed to foster curiosity, confidence, and independence. While they are not quite ready for school, they have plenty of opportunities to explore new experiences, develop problem-solving skills, and deepen their understanding of the world around them.

At this stage, children become more independent in using the toilet and strengthen their social skills, learning how to work through challenges with friends. They naturally gravitate toward mark-making and active play, pushing their own boundaries and discovering their capabilities. Technology also becomes a more integrated part of their learning, helping them build confidence as they grow into eager, self-motivated learners.

To enrich their experiences, children can take part in tennis, Mandarin, and Zumba classes. They also go on learning walks around the local area, incorporating nature, early maths, and phonics skills, alongside engaging in creative activities through our dedicated nature sessions.
